Henry and Nathan's one year check up at the doctor's office went very well. Our plan for the next few weeks is to introduce dairy to their diet to see how they tolerate the proteins. Up until now we have avoided feeding them dairy since they had an intestinal intolerance to it, but this is usually outgrown by one year of age. So we'll hope for the best!
Otherwise, the boys are right on track physically and developmentally. They did have to get four shots each, two per leg, and hated it. Joe and I forgot their Soothies at home (rookie mistake), but luckily they didn't cry for long. And I did remember to pack bottles in the bag to soothe their nerves.
Without further ado, here are the boys' stats. I think that there is some amount of error in measurement since the babies struggle most of the time, so H&N are likely the same length.
Nathan
Weight: 21 lbs. 9 oz. = 25%
Length: 31" = 90%
Head circumference: 47 cm = 75%
Henry
Weight: 21 lbs. 13 oz. = 50%
Length: 30" = 50%
Head circumference: 47 cm = 75%
Of course, their cuteness factor is off the chart at 1000% !!

Good job, boys! And I'll agree...the cuteness factor is 1000%!!
About the length. At F&R's 9 month appoitment, there was one nurse per kid. They measured Reid at 27" (which is what I'd expect, compared w/ his 6 month length). But, she pegged the Finnster at 25". LESS than he was at the 6 month mark. I asked for a "redo" and of course, it was 27"...same as Reid. I take the length measurements with a grain of salt!
There is a wonderful world of dairy products out there! Ice cream, yogurt, cheese...oh my!
You can serve them the finest imported cheeses every single day for the cost of Nutramigen!
Happy One Year!
i see the tootsie-pop genes kicking in...
