Honolulu Adventures

We spent the first two days of our Hawaiian vacation in Honolulu. It was Joe's first time in Honolulu and he wanted to check out Waikiki Beach. So we stayed in a kid-friendly hotel that was easy walking distance from the beach, aquarium and zoo. Perfect! We didn't even need a rental car. Here are some highlights from Honolulu:

At the aquarium, Nathan watches the monk seal swim around:

A rare but increasing incident of twin cooperation:

Me and the boys at the zoo:

N&H checking out howler monkeys swinging around and hooting loudly. They still remember this vividly and often say "monkeys too loud".

Nate with elephants:

Nathan on the big (fake) giraffe:

Henry grinning/squinting (?) on Waikiki:

Joe buries Nathan in the sand:

Henry hauls a bucket of water for some reason that I can't recall:

Nathan taking his first swim in the ocean. This part of Waikiki Beach is great for kids as there is a wall that keeps the water calm.

Way Back When-esday

I have blatantly stolen the idea for this post from another twin blogger. Here are some double twinski photos from 'way back when' in no particular order. The top picture was taken last month during our trip to Hawaii. I am very close to having some Hawaii trip pictures ready to post.

The new title for the blog, Twinskis, was coined by my sister Suzy (see her below in a Boston U sweatshirt) as a shortened version of 'Chmielowski Twins'. I also refreshed the look of the blog and included links to a few other blogs that I follow.

School photos

I scanned in the school photos from October. Can anyone identify Henry and Nathan? (Meemaw and Suzy are disqualified from this test)

The fair is fun

We just got back from a fabulous 2 week vacation to Hawaii. Since I'm way behind on downloading and organizing photos, I'll post these gems from the Alaska State Fair in September.

You can see that the boys were excited about going to the fair:
